One of my favorite ways to recuperate is to go on walks at night. It is so peaceful and gorgeous in the foothills that I am always more relaxed and content afterwards. On weeknights my dad, Jen, and I have a 2.5 mile route that we usually do and I just finished a nice walk with my mom and Jen.
I decided to post a few pictures of the walks and the surrounding area.

I have never thought Tucson was very pretty. You are probably in the only part that is. Glad to hear you are still walking. Means there is still time left for me to beat you in a run.
Have a god week. Each one brings you closer to being well.
Hi Baby,
I loved to see the pictures. Mudge looks pretty fine. Moochie told me that you are coming to Phoenix this week. I am so glad. I was prepared however to drive down to Tucson on Tuesday.
I am hoping this way you will be able to see more of your cousins! I know they are anxious to see you.
Plus, Stanley is on Spring Break this week....Hopefully Amie will be home as well...it would be nice for everyone to see each other.
Well, I getting ready to read the book you Dad lent to me, but wanted you to know that I think of you all the time, and I'll love you forever!
Have a good Monday!
Love,
Aunt Lynnie
Good to see you are on the mend.

Sweet Steve,
I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed my visit this weekend to your little hacienda retreat in the desert. I could not believe how much better you looked. Ted did "a real nice" job on your hair, although I'm thinking he should probably keep his day job. I just couldn't get enough of smooching that head of yours. I know we have all marvelled at the strenth and determination at which you have approached this challenge, but witnessing first hand how well your recovery is progresing gives witness to you strength.
I think Peg's days are numbered. In a short time you will not have to waste that French vanilla Hagan Das on Peg, but rather you will be tasting every 200 calories per spoonful with absolutely no guilt.
Jen's notes of encouragement all over the house were just about the coolest things I have ever seen. She does have a tad of Martha Stewart in her. My drive back to Phoenix on Sunday was with a much lighter heart. I love you so much.
Steven,
I was glad to read in your Aunt Mary's note that things are progressing well for you. I hope you have a good visit with friends and family back home in Phoenix this week...Love...Aunt Elaine
Steven, seeing these rear view pictures reminds me of when my mom would yell at my dad, "Walt, No!" when he took pictures of her from behind, so for future reference... front views only please. Unfortunately, Jen is blocked from view. Now that everyone feels like they know her you need to put on her picture. I will always think of our walks every time I taste/smell grape from the wisteria. That was so amazing!
Steven-
I wish I could be included in that long list of loving visitors you've been getting lately. I know it has been forever, but just know that you're on my mind quite a lot. Here is my email: C_Schneider10@yahoo.com if you're ever bored surfing the net, feel free to drop me a line :)
Love,
your cousin Carrie
P.s Here are some songs I have been thinking of for you...
Do You Realize? by The Flaming lips
Across The Universe by The Beatles (or anyone in the multitude of artists who have covered that song)
All Fired Up by Interpol (any interpol song off of "Our love to admire", really)
I'll have more soon....!
